Tomas is a Clinical Psychological Associate with more than 20 years of experience, providing assessments and therapeutic support to individuals experiencing a wide range of challenges, including neurodivergence, trauma-related difficulties, mood and anxiety disorders, eating-related concerns, and other complex psychological and emotional needs, from an integrative and client-centered approach.
His approach is grounded in humility and curiosity, which are essential to meaningful therapeutic relationships, effective psychological care, respect, and genuine connection, with the goal of understanding each client within the context of their unique experiences, needs, strengths, and circumstances.
He strives to create a safe, respectful, and collaborative therapeutic environment in which clients feel heard and supported. His practice is also informed by a culturally responsive perspective, recognizing the importance of exploring different worldviews, identities, values, and life experiences. He aims to assess and support clients holistically, drawing on evidence-based interventions while recognizing the individual behind the presenting concern.
Ultimately, he aims to help clients build greater self-sufficiency and the
resources they need to navigate life with confidence and purpose.
He has participated in investigations, supervision, and publications in seminars and clinical journals. He is fluent in English and Spanish, and beyond the clinical setting, I enjoy travelling with my family and exploring cultural differences, playing sports, writing, movies, and making videos.
