I’m a student intern completing a master’s degree in counselling psychology from Yorkville University. I support individuals navigating mental health hurdles, including anxiety, depression, and trauma, and I offer a compassionate, collaborative space where clients feel seen and heard.
My approach is grounded in person-centred therapy, emphasizing empathy and genuine connection, and I often integrate cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness practices to help clients build practical tools for change. I believe that no single approach works for everyone, so I work flexibly - drawing from a range of evidence-based modalities to meet each person’s unique needs, goals, and preferences.
Having grown up in an Armed Forces family, I understand the unique experiences and challenges that can come with military life, including transitions, identity, and stress. This background has shaped my dedication to working with veterans and military families, providing care that is both culturally sensitive and grounded in respect and understanding.
Outside of therapy, I’m committed to mental health advocacy, ongoing learning, and creating inclusive spaces where people feel empowered to grow and heal. Outside of my work, I spend time with my family, engage in a variety of creative pursuits, and find renewal in nature.
