Alison brings more than 20 years of experience working with children, youth, families, and educators in a variety of school and community settings.
Throughout her career, she has developed a particular interest in supporting neurodivergent children and youth, helping them recognize their strengths, navigate challenges, and find practical strategies that work for them.
Her approach is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based. Alison believes that understanding the whole person—their interests, needs, environment, and individual way of experiencing the world—is essential to meaningful support. She is passionate about creating spaces where young people feel heard, understood, and empowered to be themselves.
At Centre Dimensions, Alison facilitates groups and learning opportunities for youth and families, and provides practical support around academic accommodations. She particularly enjoys finding creative, individualized ways to help young people build confidence and feel more capable in their everyday lives.
Outside of work, Alison is happiest when she is creating or exploring. She enjoys painting, gardening, spending time outdoors and gathering with family and friends. She is always curious and loves learning something new.
